Hershey's Sweet Poker Seats at 2007 WSOP & Sponsorship Deal

Poker Players will have a chance to win 2 'Sweet Seats' to the World Series of Poker Main Event sponsored by the popular North American chocolate maker, the Hershey Company. Harrah's also sweetened Hershey's sponsorship deal by naming Hershey the Official Chocolate of the 2007 World Series of Poker.

"The No. 1 name in chocolate," said Jeffrey Pollack, Commissioner of the World Series of Poker, "is now teamed with the No. 1 brand in poker. We are proud that Hershey has joined our growing family of sponsors."

Harrah's License Company, LLC, an affiliate of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. and The Hershey Company announced the sponsorship deal for the 2007 World Series of Poker on Feb 5.

In their announcement, Hershey made it known that they will launch a promotion awarding 2 'Sweet Seats' to the World Series of Poker Main Event. Secondary prizes will include trips to Las Vegas.

The promotion is scheduled to hit in-store displays April through June of 2007 throughout the United States. More than 20,000 display units of Hershey's standard bar chocolate products will feature the World Series of Poker logo and 'Sweet Seats' sweepstakes.

Hershey will have the right to use the World Series of Poker name, logo, image and design in promotions of Hershey's products in television, radio, print, Internet and other advertising, as well as on sales-collateral and on-pack materials, premiums and other promotions.

The mind boggles with possible fun one liners:

Will Hershey kisses be used as card protectors at every table??

Could this help sweeten up legislators to get poker exempt from the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIEGA)?
