Girls at Play

The girls stroll to the table so confident and cool
"No balls are needed for this game-cause we're not playing pool."
Each girl sits down more self assured and readies for the deal
The sisterhood of players wish "good luck"- their wish is real.
The cards are dealt, the bidding’s done; it’s a male who loses big
The language gets quite colourful, as he sits and flips his wig.
Maybe our "pro wannabe" had played the whole hand wrong
But girls don't try to tell him that, he'll stay angry far too long.
Instead they’re gracious win or lose and show it makes no sense
You miss the fun of playing cards when a loss gets you so tense.
