Neteller pulls out of Canada

Well , looks like online poker may be on the way out for Canadians too.

The other day my bud Earl made a post at the 5TH Street Forum about how Neteller was pulling out of the Canadian and Turkish markets.

When i read it i got a sick feeling in my gut. I never really understood how my friends in the States felt untill then.

Luckily i was able to pull my money out of the 2 sites i had something worth pulling out before they stop it.

Here is the email i recieved from Neteller

In light of increased uncertainty about the status of certain activities related to online gambling in Canada, and in line with other payment processors, NETELLER has decided to cease the ability for Canadian members to transfer funds to and from online gambling sites.



Important dates



March 26th, 2007: InstaCASH was disabled for Canadian members
April 9th, 2007: All transfers to and from online gambling sites will be disabled for Canadian members
